A couple of months back, Long John and fellow Zim Comedian US based Alkfried Kainga made waves as they were up for nomination for the award along side other comedians such as Anne Kansiime from Uganda, Nigeria’s Basket Mouth and Chingliz from Zambia.
Victory has gone to Long John who picked up a gong at the 9th South African Savannah Comics Choice Awards. He picked up the gong for Pan African Comedian of the Year. The awards were held Saturday night at Gold Reef City, Johannesburg.
