Highlanders Football Club is back in action with renewed energy after FIFA officially lifted their transfer ban, a development made possible through the intervention of businessman Wicknell Chivayo. The ban was initially imposed due to an unpaid debt of US$27,000 owed to former coaches Baltemar Brito and Antonio Joao Torres. However, Chivayo stepped in and cleared the amount in full, paving the way for Highlanders to regain their transfer privileges.
